Savor You by Emily Snow

Savor You by Emily Snow
(Savor Us #1)

Book Synopsis:  Kylie Wolfe and guitarist Wyatt McCrae have been bad for each other for the last several years, but it’s impossible for them to end their toxic push and pull. Not when their attraction is constantly fueled by lust and proximity—she’s her older brother’s Lucas’s assistant and Wyatt is his best friend and band mate.

So when Your Toxic Sequel makes a move to record a new album in Nashville, Kylie decides to make the latest break with Wyatt official by getting the hell out of town. She’ll spend a week in New Orleans. A week to immerse herself in the Mardi Gras scene. One week to not think about the last time she was in New Orleans, seven years ago with Wyatt. Seven days where she won’t have to see Wyatt every day just to fall ridiculously in love with him all over again—where, if she wants to, she can have a normal, no-strings attached fling that won’t end in heartbreak.

Too bad Wyatt ruins everything by showing up, as gorgeous and demanding and goddamn awful for her as ever.

Wyatt refuses to let Kylie give up on him. Not without reminding her why they both fell so far and hard in the first place. Not without making her savor the good memories and what could be their last chance with each other.

Note: This is a spinoff from the Devoured series.

My review:  4 stars!!!

As stated above, this books is a spinoff of the Devoured series.  Now, if you haven't read that series, I would not recommend you read this book.  This is is written during the same time as the Devoured series, and this books refers to things that happened in the Devoured books.  So, you should read that series first.

I loved Kylie in the Devoured series.  She's a firecracker.  She's not afraid to yell at her rock star brother, but she's sweet too.  She helped her brother and stood behind Sierra.  She has a big heart.

This series is about Kylie (I'm not sure about the second book in this series), but this book is all about Kylie.  I feel in love with Kylie more in this book.  She's a little messed up and she has some problems, she has no idea what she wants.  But, in the end it all works out for her.  She deserves the best.  She's a great girl!!!

I gave the book 4 stars because, despite it being a great book, there are many unanswered questions.  Maybe Emily Snow will answer those questions in the next book, maybe not.  But, there's a story behind all the blackbirds Kylie has tattooed on her body.  You never know the stories, except for maybe one of them.  What is the rest of the story?  What has happened between her and Wyatt all these years?  Why are they the way they are?  So, many questions.

All in all, this was a great book.  And I am definitely sitting on the edge of my seat awaiting the second book in this series.  So, time will tell where Ms. Snow decides to take this series.  I'm sure all the questions will be answered, I am a huge fan of Emily Snow.

On to the next book ....
